There is a new perspective that is gained by visiting Guatemala and seeing how others live. It is a precious gift to be able to travel somewhere that is outside our normal comfort zone and still be able to share in the love of the Lord. “The mission trip to Guatemala was a great time of spiritual growth for me. The “street ministry activities” stretched me out of my comfort zone, and made me realize once again that we can minister to others only from the overflow of God’s love in our own lives. We have to be filled up and overflowing with His love in order to have something to share with other people. The morning and evening devotional times that you lead helped me to feel God’s love and to have the faith to step out of my comfort zone. And, the fellowship and love inside our team made even digging the septic drainage hole a great memory.”
