“Watching Chad interact with and relate to students and youth leaders tells you so much about him. He is intensely interested in their spiritual formation and trajectory. He listens. He cares. His heart is as big as his vision and he is making a difference.”

“I have been around a lot of communicators in my travels and I can say with a great amount of enthusiasm that Chad Hambrick is one of the best I have ever met. He uses his brilliance to fight against the complacency of our church with passion and practicality. I found myself taking furious notes every time he spoke. What a breath of fresh air!”

“Chad’s relationship with God is one that’s intimate. Honest. Real. As a follower of Christ who has traveled a little farther down the journey into pressing in and knowing God, Chad’s ministry is simply this: he teaches others what he has learned about His Savior and Friend and His Truth along the way. Chad recognizes that God’s kingdom comes to earth when, and only when, we are turning our hearts toward Him. I’ve known Chad since I was born, and like the students he shares with, I’ve learned quite a bit from my big brother in the Lord. ”

Equipping Ministers at Training Events
“What Chad brought to Conclave added the extremely important message of multiplying your influence by reaching and disciplining those who will do the same with others. It was a joy to know that Chad was holding up the model of ministry that made such a difference in my time in the local church. Chad’s vision and enthusiasm was an amazing asset to Conclave.”

Consulting the Church Staff
“Chad’s ministry to me, my staff and our church has helped tremendously. Personally, I am growing in Christ as result of our regular time together. He is a friend and a brother with counsel from the Lord. His ministry to pastors and the church staff is helping them see beyond the numbers and the grind to re-establish a life operating out of John 15:5.”

Ministering to Parents
“I think the most important part of Chad Hambrick’s message is the teaching that the Christian experience is not only about your outward behavior, but that it has to come from the heart. I also thought it was important that he shared that in discipling our children we have to remember that this ministry starts at home.”

“I was blown away by the response of my group as a result of Chad’s sessions. This turned out to be one of the best retreats we ever had. God has given Chad a message about abiding in Christ from John 15 that is relevant to any person of any age.”

Speaking at Universities and College Campuses
Gardner-Webb’s Dimension’s service featured long-time minister and public speaker Chad Hambrick. Hambrick is well known as a devout minister who speaks about the importance of keeping a life centered on Christ. He embraces an evangelistic role as he encourages people to pursue the cause of “abiding, serving, [and] multiplying.”
Hambrick comes to Gardner-Webb with strong recommendations from his peers and fellow professionals. He has served students and families in a plethora of settings for over 15 years while always maintaining a ministry that focuses less on religious practice and more on a relationship with Jesus Christ. YouthWalk Magazine credits Hambrick for having a relationship with God that can only be described as “intimate, honest, and real.”
Wherever Hambrick travels, the question that always seems to present itself to the audience is, “What has God created me for?” While Hambrick may not have the exact answer for each audience member, he acknowledges that “apart from abiding in Christ and allowing him to transform our lives from the inside out, we will have no eternal impact on the Kingdom of God.” A powerful message, especially for anyone who fears being forgotten after they leave this world, but that’s not to say his message leaves no hope. Hambrick strives to teach exactly the opposite: that there is hope if your heart and soul are centered on the person of Christ.

“Chad Hambrick’s message was relevant, honest, and right where the students were in life. What I liked most is that Chad did not sell himself; he made it all about Jesus. With his ability to connect to the 1000+ college students, I was very surprised to find out this was the first time he had shared at a university.”

“Two years ago our church was going through a time of transition. We were in need of direction and a clear focus for our leadership team. I called Chad and asked him about coming to take us through “the abiding journey” process of abiding, serving and multiplying. Chad agreed to take us on this journey and we had a great experience of learning how to implement these Biblical principals both in our personal lives and in our ministries. We came away from this experience with a renewed vision and passion that caused us to abide, serve and multiply in Christ for God’s Kingdom. Now two years later our church is still experiencing the results of implementing these biblical principles. Our church is growing spiritually and numerically, the people of our church are more involved in reaching our community, mission giving and involvement is on the rise and our prayer ministry has exploded. The bottom line is more people are allowing Jesus to live in and through their lives! If you haven’t experienced “the abiding journey” I encourage you to pray about taking your church leaders through this process. I promise you will be encouraged and challenged by God’s Word, your eyes will be opened and your lives and ministries will experience the power of God!”

What a blessing to have Chad Hambrick as event Pastor for SonPower 2010! Chad came with a servant’s heart from the beginning, completely prepared-obviously having sought God’s heart and will for this event–but also willing to serve both students and leaders in any way he could. He was fun to work with, a real team player. The kids absolutely loved him, and sought his counsel throughout the week. I’d highly recommend Chad for your student event or leadership retreat.
