“Guatemala is an amazing place with people ranging from rich to poor, but there is a culture that runs deep within the people there. There is a new perspective that is gained by visiting Guatemala and seeing how others live. After seeing this, there is a true realization that we really are all the same, no matter what material possessions we may have collected over our lifetime. It is a precious gift to be able to travel somewhere that is outside our normal comfort zone and still be able to share in the love of the Lord. Chad guided us through Guatemala and showed us things I may never have the chance to see again. Our host family who also guided us and took care of us was precious and kind and filled up with the Spirit of the Lord. I would love to go back again, to share in this love and to feel like I am part of something greater than myself. If you get the opportunity, please take the trip with Chad. You will not only learn something about Guatemala, but you will also learn something about yourself and the blessings that God has bestowed upon you.
